Jacob M. Romney is a litigation associate at Plant, Christensen & Kanell. His experience with the firm began as a summer law clerk, where he gained hands-on experience in litigation by assisting with legal research, motion practice, and discovery management.
Before joining Plant, Christensen & Kanell, Jacob built a strong foundation in litigation through other legal roles, namely as a summer associate at Armstrong Teasdale and as a legal extern at Parkinson Benson Potter. In these positions, he developed valuable skills in pre-trial practice, trial preparation, and trial advocacy.
Jacob earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Utah's S.J. Quinney College of Law. In law school, Jacob helped first-year law students as a legal writing teaching assistant and also served as treasurer of the Sports Law Club. Jacob also holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Business from Brigham Young University.
