Mark is originally from New Zealand and moved to Utah in 2004 to marry his lovely wife, Stephanie. After a career with the State of Utah in the Division of Juvenile Justice Services, Mark went back to school. He received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a minor in Constitutional Studies from Utah Valley University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He then attended the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University graduating with a Juris Doctorate in 2018.
While in Law School Mark interned with the New Zealand law firm Simpson Grierson, was mentored as an intern to Judge Stephen L. Roth of the Utah Court of Appeals, and spent a summer working with the Utah County Public Defenders Association. He also worked as a case manager with the Center for Conflict Resolution at Brigham Young University, where he oversaw and ran mediation between BYU landlords and tenants.
Mark’s legal philosophy is to be a trusted advisor to his clients and to give them his best service by anticipating their legal needs. He is a firm and loyal advocate.
